A group of craftsmen from Canada, united under the general name "FallingInSand" ("Falling in the sand") designs and creates creative sand paintings. With the help of colorful sand jets, falling into bottles of different sizes, Canadians get 3D-pictures. This process requires a high concentration of attention and coordination of movements.
The art of sand paintings
Once such paintings were a popular souvenir, usually sold in Arab countries. For example, in Egypt, every boy from childhood learned to create these intricate sand works. Even today in the Middle East on the streets of cities you can see Arab craftsmen wielding iron sticks in bottles. And although this art is becoming popular with us, it still continues to be exotic for the average layman of the northern latitudes.
As a rule, in Arabic paintings, plots typical of eastern countries are repeated. These are palm trees and camels, sea waves, colored inhabitants of the ocean depths.
As for the masters from FallingInSand, they depict more modern motifs on their creations. It can be a charming poodle, a cartoon character, or even Justin Bieber. To create their works, craftsmen use sea and river sand, painted in different colors. The brighter the sand, the more contrasting and beautiful the picture is.
Canadian craftsmen know how to put Justin Bieber in a sand bottle.
