Vaishyali and Nayan are artists from India. Not so long ago, they challenged themselves: within 365 days to create one miniature bird, using only paper and watercolor. Each of their work begins with a sketch. And then several layers of paper are painted with paints. To make the appearance of the work more holistic, the layers are neatly stacked on top of each other. Each bird takes 4 to 8 hours to create each bird, depending on the details of the work. The smallest birds have only 1.8 cm.

Through their work, Vaishyali and Nayan want to share the idea of how defenseless and fragile beauty can be. “The climate throughout the world is changing. Whether our descendants of these birds will see real, or just be able to contemplate their cardboard layouts - depends on us“Nayan emphasizes.

Well, we can only admire the work of artists and protect nature. For example, putting a feeder for tits to help them survive in the difficult cold season. And how do you think, how can an ordinary person contribute to the conservation of wildlife? Tell us in the comments.
