On the eve of Halloween, mischievous children make costumes and make scarecrows out of pumpkins. Why not complement the atmosphere with a dish of whole vegetables stuffed with apples? But it is worth paying attention that the grade of nutmeg pumpkin is not quite suitable for this recipe, because the fruits are already very sweet. Some housewives do not even add sugar when cooking from this variety.

To achieve the perfect taste, you must observe the following proportions:

  • a pound of pumpkin;
  • honey - 200 g;
  • apples - 300 g;
  • cinnamon - 4-5 g;
  • purified water - 0.1 l.

A dish that can be suitable not only for dinner, but also perfectly plays the role of lunch or a quick snack - rice with dried fruits and pumpkin.

To prepare such a treat, stock up on such products:

  • pumpkin - 250 g;
  • brown rice - 0.1 kg;
  • raisins - 50 g;
  • dried fruits to taste (dried apricots, dates, prunes) - 100-150 g;
  • granulated sugar - 3 tbsp. spoons;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • purified water - 250 ml.

  1. Rinse and clean all ingredients, soak rice and raisins in clean water for half an hour.
