Currently, there are many different drugs for the destruction of insects and parasites. One of the strong disinfectant concentrates is Tsifoks, the instructions for use of which are very diverse. It is recommended for use by professional disinfection services that have special permission, but is widely used at home.

The composition and effect of the drug

The product is concentrated and is available in small plastic bottles with a volume of 50 ml to 1 liter. The emulsion is toxic, has a light yellow color and a pungent chemical smell. The main component is the substance cypermethrin (25% of the total content), as well as emulsifiers, perfume, solvent.

The drug has a wide spectrum of action. Basically, with its help they get rid of bugs, flies, cockroaches, ants, mosquitoes, ticks, fleas and other parasites. For 20-25 minutes, the active substance penetrates the insect and causes paralysis. It destroys Tsifoks not only annoying individuals, but also their larvae, and it can be used both indoors and outdoors. That is why it is very popular among gardeners and is actively used in summer cottages as a pest control on plants.

Using Tsifoksa for plants

In everyday life, with the help of Tsifoks, it is possible to eliminate pests, both at home flowers and on plants in suburban areas. Especially effective in early spring is the treatment of grass and flower beds from ticks, midges and ants. The lawn can be used after the agent has completely dried on the grass.

In the suburban areas, you can spray the flowering trees and shrubs, thus getting rid of aphids, spiders, midges, spider mites and other nests. Depending on the type of pests, the emulsion is sprayed onto trunks, branches and the root part. In gardens and household plots, the procedure is best carried out in spring or early summer, when the harvest is still far away. And although Tsifoks does not penetrate into plants, it is not advisable to carry out processing near crops used in food, but if this is not avoided, then vegetables, herbs or berries should be washed well with running water.

If parasites or insects wound up in the root or basal part of the plant, then watering should be carried out with a diluted emulsion. Using this method, you can exterminate ants, fleas, caterpillars, and worms.

Instructions for use Tsifoksa

An improperly prepared solution and non-compliance with the dosage can lead to the death of plants, or, conversely, to the absence of any result.

Therefore, so that the composition has a detrimental effect on parasites and does not harm plants, you need to adhere to certain rules for preparation:

  • pour about 1 liter of water into a prepared container;
  • add the right amount of concentrate;
  • mix the components;
  • add remaining water and mix for 5 minutes;
  • wait another 5 minutes and get to work.

How to breed Tsifoks

The emulsion must be prepared immediately before using the drug, after putting on rubber gloves on your hands and a mask or bandage on your face. It is advisable to take a bucket, which then will not be a pity to throw it away. The composition when diluted with water will have a transparent color.

To eliminate fleas and midges on plants, a 0.1% solution is enough, and you can prepare it by mixing 5 liters of water and 20 ml of concentrate.

You can destroy bugs, ants and ticks with only 0.05% solution, which is obtained by combining 5 liters of water with 10 ml of pure emulsion.

In an open area, the consumption for ground processing should be taken at the rate of 100 ml per 1 m² of territory.

Important! The prepared solution is stored for no more than 8 hours, otherwise it will lose its effect.

How to spray and water

After preparing the emulsion, it must be carefully transferred to a spray bottle. On a garden plot when processing large areas, trees or shrubs, it is better to use a capsular garden sprinkler. Working with a small flower spray gun will take too much time. Home flowers, on the contrary, are best treated with a small sprayer so as not to spray the product around, and then ventilate the room. If possible, home plants can be taken outside and already processed there.

It is not necessary to work with Tsifoks in open areas in windy weather, since toxic substances will be sprayed in the wrong direction. Watering with a solution is carried out strictly under the root of the plant.

The emulsion does not weather for a long time, and its effect continues to operate in closed rooms for up to 3 months, and in the open air for 3-4 weeks.

What plants are not suitable Tsifoks and compatibility with other drugs

First of all, due to its high toxicity, the drug cannot be used to treat the fruits of plants used in food in order to avoid the ingress of toxic substances into the body. It is strictly forbidden to spray them with vegetable crops such as cabbage and squash.

Fruit trees, shrubs, vegetable plants whose fruits have not yet arisen, may be processed with the composition 30-40 days before harvesting. Especially popular is the processing of raspberries from bedbugs.

In the greenhouse with a working solution, you can water habitats and accumulations of parasites, and water strictly under the root of the plant.

Tsifoks is better to use separately, but not in combination with other chemicals. It is a potent agent, which, if used correctly, will be enough to eliminate parasites of any kind on plants.

Precautions for use

Tsifoks is a very effective and fast-acting remedy, but working with it requires special care and attention. To avoid poisoning, store it in a place inaccessible to children with a tightly closed lid. You also need to remember that it is a flammable flammable liquid, therefore it is forbidden to spray and leave it near a fire.

It does not have such a detrimental effect on people and animals as on parasites, nevertheless it can cause a severe allergic reaction or poisoning, which will be dangerous to human health and life.

When working, you must adhere to safety measures:

  • use personal protective equipment: gloves, gumboots, goggles, a face mask or respirator;
  • only people over the age of majority are allowed to work;
  • the concentrate should not be used by pregnant women, children and allergy sufferers;
  • if the treatment is carried out indoors, then 3 hours after the procedure, it is necessary to carry out ventilation;
  • after watering and spraying the flowers in the living room, it is imperative to carry out wet cleaning;
  • when spraying plants in an open area, you must not stand against the direction of the wind when working.

Important! If the drug gets on the skin, then to avoid irritation it should immediately be washed with a solution of soda.

The main advantages of the drug are its long shelf life, low cost, affordability, high efficiency and versatility in use. If the instructions for dilution of the composition are not violated, then Tsifoks acts after the first application, without requiring re-processing, and the result remains for a long time.
