Meatballs with tomato sauce - a simple homemade dish, familiar from childhood. Thanks to the addition of sauce, meat balls are tasty, juicy, with spicy notes. I cook them in a frying pan or in the oven, and I suggest you try both options to choose your favorite.
Important points:
- It is better to take minced pork, forgetting for a while about counting calories. Meatballs are juicier with it than with chicken, and more tender than with beef.
- Tomato paste can be replaced with Krasnodar sauce or ketchup, but in this case less seasoning is needed.

- garlic - 1 clove;
- egg - 1 pc.;
- dried parsley - 2 tsp;

- water - 200 ml.
Stages of preparation:
- Grind onions and garlic, mix with minced meat.
- Add the egg, parsley, salt, pepper and mix thoroughly.
- From the meat mass, form balls with a diameter of 6-7 cm. Fry them in a frying pan in preheated vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes on each side, so that they grasp well.
- In a separate bowl, prepare the sauce by mixing tomato paste and water.
- Add gravy to meatballs, let it boil and reduce heat to a minimum.
- Cover the pan and simmer for 25-30 minutes, periodically turning them over.
If you plan to bake a dish in the oven, in a refractory form you need to put round billets of raw minced meat at a short distance from each other, pour the sauce brought to a boil and send in a baking oven heated to 180 ° C for 40 minutes. So that the gravy does not burn, the form must be covered with foil.
