Soup with dumplings is a Ukrainian dish that can be prepared both in the traditional way, and with the addition of other ingredients.

How to make classic soup dumplings?

In order for the dish to work out as it should, you need to properly make dumplings for the soup.

Dumplings are dough products that are added when cooking soup.

Required Products:

  • greens and salt to your taste;
  • two glasses of flour;
  • 250 milliliters of water;
  • 30 grams of oil.

Cooking process:

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour with salt and pour water. We begin to interfere, so that the resulting mass begins to move away from the dishes.
  2. We heat the container with water, it should boil, slightly salt and spread small pieces of dough there with a spoon.
  3. Bring to readiness for 10 minutes, after which we spread on a plate, season with butter and chopped herbs.

Chicken Dumpling Soup

This recipe will take no more than 20 minutes, the most important thing is to quickly make dumplings for the soup.

Required Products:

  • two potatoes;
  • one carrot;
  • about a liter of chicken stock;
  • spices and herbs if desired;
  • dough for dumplings.

Cooking process:

  1. You can use pre-cooked broth. If you do not have it, then take a small piece of chicken weighing about 300 grams and boil it in water.
  2. While it is cooking, grind the carrots and fry in a pan. Turn the potato into medium-sized cubes.
  3. When the broth is ready, remove the chicken, wait for the boil, put the carrots in it, keep on the stove for about 5 minutes.
  4. After this time, put the potatoes in the pan, cook for another 15 minutes, and begin to pinch off the dumplings from the dough and put them in the soup.
  5. We make a low level of heating and bring to full readiness within 7 minutes, serve best with herbs.

We add meatballs to the recipe

You can make the soup more nutritious and saturated if you add meat to it, for example, small meatballs.

Fresh soup with dumplings and meatballs is most delicious.

Required Products:

  • three potatoes;
  • onion and carrots;
  • about 300 grams of minced meat;
  • spices and herbs to your taste;
  • 50 grams of oil;
  • dough for dumplings.

Cooking process:

  1. We put a pot of water on the fire, while it boils, we prepare other products.
  2. Stuffing minced meat with chopped onions, season with selected spices. We form small balls from the resulting mass and put them into boiling water.
  3. After a few minutes, we send the potatoes chopped into cubes into the pan.
  4. The dumplings will come next, tear off small pieces from the dough and place in the broth.
  5. In a hot pan, fry the grated carrots and onions until soft and put to the rest of the products. Let the dish boil for about five more minutes and remove. When serving, we make out greens.

Garlic Dumpling Soup

To make soup with garlic dumplings you do not need to stock up on any special products, just make a spicy dough for dumplings.

Required Products:

  • onion and carrot;
  • five potatoes;
  • two liters of broth or water;
  • seasonings to your liking;
  • two eggs;
  • three cloves of garlic;
  • 350 grams of flour.

Cooking process:

  1. Heat water or broth, put potatoes pre-diced there, hold for about 15 minutes.
  2. During this time, you need to prepare a dough for dumplings: mix the flour with salt, chopped garlic and the specified number of eggs. Turn the resulting lump into a sausage, cut into small pieces.
  3. Grind onions and carrots in any way, fry a little in a pan.
  4. When the potatoes are almost ready, first add dumplings to the soup, and when they begin to float on the surface, add the frying. Keep on medium heat for about 8 minutes and serve.

  • 200 grams of mushrooms;
  • about three liters of water;

Cooking process:

  1. Put the water on a fire to bask, and at this time turn the potatoes into squares. Put it out after boiling.
  2. Cut onions, mushrooms and carrots into small pieces and fry in a pan, adding them in turn.
  3. Put selected spices and dumplings into the broth. Wait until they pop up and sprinkle the roast.
  4. Keep on the stove for about 8 minutes after boiling.

Chicken Broth Recipe

This soup is one of the easiest and tastiest. All the necessary ingredients will certainly be found at home, and you can quickly make a hearty meal.

  • spices as desired.

Cooking process:

  1. We put a pot of water on the fire, wait until the boiling process begins, and put the meat there. It must be boiled for at least two hours, so that the liquid becomes transparent. Do not forget to put the selected seasonings.
  2. After this time, the chicken needs to be removed and the potatoes cut in squares are placed in the broth.
  3. Until it comes to readiness, chop the onion with carrots and fry in a pan, then put it into the broth.
  4. It remains only to add dumplings, and cook the soup for about 10 minutes.

In a slow cooker

A crock-pot is a universal appliance for cooking, so, of course, you can cook soup with dumplings in it.

Soup with dumplings will make your menu varied and hearty.

  • the required amount of water or broth;
  • various seasonings to your taste, herbs;
  • three potatoes.

Cooking process:

  1. If you are going to cook the broth, then for this it is necessary to put the meat in a bowl, pour water and keep it in the "Stew" mode for about two hours, and then remove it from the container.You can skip this step if you use water. It will need about three liters.
  2. Peel and chop all the vegetables in any way, put them in a bowl, pour seasonings and fill everything with water.
  3. Set the operation mode of the appliance to “Extinguishing” and the time is about 90 minutes.
  4. When the time comes to an end, in about 6-7 minutes add dumplings to the soup and bring to full readiness. If desired, you can sprinkle with herbs.
