Kefir donuts are a delicacy that reminds one of childhood. Airy, aromatic flour products are equally loved by both adults and children. And if they are still stuffed or with icing - there will simply be an overeating!

Kefir donuts in 15 minutes - a step-by-step recipe

Baking blanks will be needed not so much, and donuts themselves are fried unrealistically quickly. Therefore, it will be enough to spend no more than 5-7 minutes preparing the dough, the same amount for roasting - and the food is ready for tea drinking!

The components of the recipe:

  • kefir-samokvas - 200 ml;
  • sugar - 4 tbsp. l .;
  • egg - 1;
  • a bag of vanillin;
  • butter - 50 grams;
  • good quality wheat flour - 400-450 grams;
  • baking powder - 1 h. l .;
  • vegetable oil (purified) - 1 cup.

Prepare the components. It is recommended to put the oil in advance from the refrigerator, so that it is sufficiently heated and soft. Beat eggs for several minutes with sugar until completely homogeneous. This is best done with a hand blender or mixer. Pour kefir into the resulting mixture, whisk again.

Add the vanilla-flour mixture and baking powder in small portions, stirring.

Coat the work surface with a layer of flour. At the same time, put the pan to heat, pour oil into it. Meanwhile, roll out the dough with a thick layer of about 1 centimeter. Using two glasses of different diameters, squeeze donuts out of the formation - first with a larger glass, and inside the resulting circle, make a hole with a smaller glass.

In a boiling oil, place several resulting rings and fry on all sides to an appetizing light caramel shade.

Place the finished donuts on paper towels so that excess fat is stacked on paper. Cool for a quarter of an hour, and set the table.

On a note. Do not make the dough too steep.Do not add a lot of flour, otherwise the donuts will be dense and tough. As soon as the dough ceased to stick strongly to the hands, it means that the flour entered in the required volume.

A quick recipe for cooking with honey

This recipe describes how to make sweet honey kefir donuts in 15 minutes. We recommend taking note - the difference is small, but the delicacy is much more aromatic and sweeter.

You will need:

  • butter 50 grams;
  • honey 2 table. spoons;
  • table eggs 4 pieces;
  • lemon;
  • sugar ½ cup;
  • baking powder 2 teaspoons;
  • salt half a teaspoon;
  • flour 3 cups;
  • powdered sugar.

First, melt the butter. An alternative may be margarine, take in the same amount. We also treat honey if it is not liquid, but sugared.

Beat the egg-sugar mixture. We rinse the citrus and grater clean the zest from it. Pour the zest shavings into the sweet mass and pour the oil-honey mixture. Do not use hot liquid oil - only warm. All gradually stir when introducing products.

Sift the flour and add a little to the liquid billet. Do not forget about the baking powder. A soft, elastic, slightly airy dough should form, slightly sticking to the hands.

We cut the dough for donuts into pieces, roll out and squeeze out circles. When frying, they should become balls. Deep-fried, get a slotted spoon.

Airy delicacy in 15 minutes

The beauty of donuts is that they will not require yeast at all.

We will need:

  • kefir 2.5% - 250 ml;
  • egg 1;
  • sugar - 4-5 tbsp. l .;
  • a little salt;
  • soda-1/2 tsp;
  • vegetable oil 3-4 tbsp. spoons (required for dough and a glass for frying);
  • butter - 30 gr.;
  • premium flour - 390 gr.

To begin with, put oil on a slow steam bath - it should be liquid. In this state, it will be easier to add to the dough. It is important that it is not hot.

In the meantime, beat the egg to a foam. Pour all the sugar and mix. Sugar will not completely dissolve, especially if you use a whisk instead of a mixer.

Next, pour kefir, salt, pour soda and butter. Whisk well.

Flour is added in small portions - a few tablespoons at a time. Gradually knead the dough. We leave for the future a couple of spoons of the main component. We spread the resulting mass on a board or tabletop covered with a thin layer of flour. Thoroughly knead, if it sticks strongly to your hands and stretches - add a little more loose component. When the dough for donuts becomes more or less thick, sticky, but not reaching for hands - the flour can be set aside. Its variety can greatly affect the preparation - you may need a little more or less than what is written in the list of products.

Roll the dough into a ball, make a depression on top and pour in the oil. It is important to add it at the end. Knead until it is absorbed.

We roll the workpiece into a layer and squeeze it out with a special nozzle or a glass of different sizes.

Further, everything is the same as in the previous recipes: fry the rings over a quiet fire, while the oil in the pan should be hot. We put in one layer for several minutes on napkins, cool.

At this stage, we recommend sprinkling powdered sugar through the strainer - if desired. About 14 donuts are obtained from the above products.

On a note. Kefir is not necessary to use the first freshness. It will be better if you use the remnants of yogurt, expired in a few days - the dough will be much more airy, porous, thanks to this product.

Donut Glaze

Discussed products are often coated with sweet glaze. Popular are considered - bright white with vanilla and chocolate.

Prepare:

  • 150 grams of powdered sugar;
  • 1 chilled egg white;
  • 1 tsp lemon juice;
  • any confectionery gel dyes.

Pass the powdered sugar into a bowl through a sieve to get rid of the seals. In another bowl, beat the squirrel with a fork. Add the powder in small portions, also do not forget about the juice - it will add a glaze of whiteness. Continuing mixing, gradually pour in all the powder.The consistency should be similar to liquid sour cream.

Divide the resulting glaze according to the bowls by the number of planned colors. Add a small drop to each - this is enough to get a moderately saturated color. Mix for uniform staining of the glaze.

On a note. For storage, tighten the plates with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Glazed donuts can be sprinkled with colored Easter sprinkles.
