The medicinal properties of bee subpestilence are especially appreciated; they are actively used by folk and traditional medicine in the fight against various disorders in the functioning of the human body.

What is bee killing?

Bee killing is a biomaterial that remains after the death of bees. The active substance is chitosan, or beezan. Penetrating into the human body, it interacts with melanin, providing a range of beneficial effects. In ancient Greece, healers used death in the treatment of carbuncles, diseases of the teeth and gums, eyes.

There are two types of death (or pestilence) - summer and winter, which determines the healing properties of this beekeeping product. Summer death consists of strong and healthy individuals who die by chance. The bodies of these insects contain concentrated poison in large quantities. This material is considered the most useful and valuable.

Winter death is much easier to collect, it is more and the cost of the product is lower. The collection of material is carried out in the spring, when the hive with insects is taken out from the winter shelter. However, pest collected after the winter season can be affected by fungus and bacteria, which occurs under improper storage conditions. The beekeeping product collected after winter is of less value, since insects are weakened and the concentration of poison in them is already less.

If the bees died as a result of treatment with chemicals before hibernation, they should not be used for the preparation of death. The use of such biomaterial can be harmful.
