  • predictions are best written not by hand, but printed on paper and on a laser printer. Conventional inks may become blurry when heated;

It is logical to first describe the recipe for Chinese cookies, because it is the Chinese who are the largest manufacturers of millions of boxes of treats. The dough for cookies is simple, there is only one condition - it needs to be rolled up very quickly, otherwise it will crumble.

The simplest products will be required:

  • half a glass of wheat flour;
  • Art. a spoonful of corn starch;
  • 3 egg whites
  • 50 g of sugar and vegetable oil;
  • vanillin, cinnamon, a little salt.

And now step by step how to make fortune cookies.

  1. We combine everything dry together.
  2. Beat the whites until a strong foam and add to the mixture. Mix again by adding vanillin, a spoonful of oil and a spoonful of cold water.
  3. Prepare a baking sheet - place baking paper in it and grease it with plenty of grease or oil.
  4. Pour the dough onto a baking sheet with a small spoon to make small thin cakes about 8 cm in diameter.
  5. Put in an oven heated to 150 degrees and bake for about ten minutes until golden.
  6. Very quickly, not allowing to cool, take the cakes one at a time and fold. In each middle put a strip of paper with a prediction, fold in half, and then - in half again, without blinding the edges. To prevent cookies from turning, you can put them in a small bowl. It can be a cake pan, a regular cup or glass.
  7. In the same way bake and mold all products.

Since the cookies are hot, we work with gloves and bake no more than four cakes at once.

Classic cooking option

Most often, friable cookies are cooked all the same in butter.

Three eggs are taken:

  • half a glass of flour;
  • one glass of powdered sugar;
  • one and a half Art. tablespoons of oil.

Combine the seeded flour and powder in a bowl. Melt and cool the butter. Shake the proteins a little and add to the flour mixture with powder, mix. Pour in the cooled oil there and mix again to get a smooth dough without lumps.

Bake and roll as in the previous recipe.

Fortune Cookies - A Simple Recipe

You can cook the dough without butter. It will resemble a sponge cake rather, because for its preparation you will need 3 eggs, a glass of flour and the same amount of sugar. Making cookies is quick and easy.

 

You need to put the oven on the heat, and in the meantime, beat the sugar with eggs and pour in the flour. The dough is ready! It is baked in the same way as in previous recipes, only use a preheated baking sheet, greased immediately with oil.

But the product can be shaped as an envelope or as a flower. In this case, you need to take candied fruit into thin strips and use them as pistils of flowers. A strip with a prediction, possibly doubled, is also laid inside.

How to make a flower? In the middle of the finished round billet, put a piece of paper and a strip of candied fruit, curl up with a bag and squeeze the edges. It turned out something like a calla flower.

This dough is perfectly baked in a greased pan. In this case, you do not need to turn the cakes over.

How to make protein dough from?

If you add yolks to the dough, it will be more crumbly. If you use only proteins, then the cookies will become crispy and airy. Here's how to make a protein treat.

We will prepare: 3 protein, half a glass of flour, the same amount of starch, 50 g of sugar, cinnamon, a pinch of salt, a packet of vanilla sugar, a little rapeseed or corn oil, which, however, can be replaced with any refined oil.

Combine all dry ingredients and mix. Beat the protein until foam and add melted and cooled to room temperature oil, vanillin and a spoonful of water. Pour the dry mixture there and mix. Spread the dough on a baking sheet and, after leveling the back of the spoon, send the cakes to the oven for 10 minutes.

While we are folding a triangle with one cake, the rest are waiting in an open oven.

Ready cookies can be decorated with melted toffee, boiled condensed milk, sprinkled or dipped in chocolate icing.

Cookies can be made not only in the form of envelopes. Usually it is gluing envelopes that causes the greatest difficulties. We offer an original and simple recipe for serving sweet predictions in the form of rolls. We take:

  • a glass of flour and powdered sugar;
  • 100 g butter;
  • Art. a spoonful of vodka;
  • 3 yolks;
  • a pinch of salt.

Technology step by step:

  1. Stripes of paper with printed predictions are carefully wrapped in foil.
  2. Vodka, softened butter, sugar, rub with yolks.
  3. We put flour in this mixture so that the dough is not crumbling, but soft and plastic.
  4. We roll it to a thickness of half a centimeter and cut it randomly into rectangles.
  5. On the edge of each we put the prediction in foil and wrap it with a roll. At this point, you can enrich the taste by adding the filling in the form of nuts chopped with sugar, prunes with dried apricots or marmalade.
  6. Put in the oven for 20 minutes and bake at 180 degrees.
