This unusually tasty cake is known to everyone, it is easy to buy in a store, but, of course, your family will not remain indifferent if you take the liberty of preparing it yourself. A fragrant honey treat can cheer up the household and make Sunday tea unforgettable.

Honey cake with sour cream - a classic recipe
For the test you will need:
- Chicken egg - 2 pcs;
- Butter (not spread) - 100 g;
- Flower honey - 3 tbsp .;
- Sugar sand - 1 cup;
- Wheat flour (premium) - 500 g;
- Soda - 1 tsp
To make a cream, take:
- 1 cup sugar;
- Vanilla essence - 1 tsp;
- Sour cream (at least 20 percent fat) - 600 g.
Honey should be taken in a darker color. It is usually more aromatic. It is better to get it from good beekeepers, but you can get by with what is offered in the store.
Cooking dough
- Mix the eggs and granulated sugar with a mixer until airy foam.
- Next, we attach soda, fragrant honey, softened butter to these components, mix everything thoroughly.
- We put the dishes with the mixture in a water bath and, stirring, cook for about 10 minutes, until the honey is completely dissolved.
- Next, add ½ part of the flour and cook until the dough begins to darken.
- Remove the bowl from the heat and let the mixture cool.
- Add the remaining flour to the slightly cooled mass, knead the dough until smooth.
- We divide the dough into 8 particles and, covering it with a film, set it to “rest” in a cold place for 30 minutes.
On the intricacies of baking cakes
- Turn on the oven and heat it to a temperature of 200 degrees.
- We wet the work surface and spread baking paper on it - we will roll cakes on it.
- Roll out the dough, take a flat plate of the desired diameter and, laying it on the resulting "pancake", cut a circle along the contour.
- Together with the paper, we send the dough into the oven, as well as the cuttings from the cake (in the future, this crumb will be used for decoration).
- The baking time of each cake is about 3-4 minutes, until a beautiful golden color.
- While the first cake is being baked, in the same way we roll out the second.
- In total, 8 cakes should be obtained.
Cooking cream
Beat the chilled sour cream, gradually adding sugar and vanilla to it. Beat up until the cream becomes thick and voluminous.
Then there remains a very simple job: you need to collect the cake. We put cakes on top of each other, not forgetting to evenly lubricate them with cream. We also apply cream on the top cake, and turn the baked leftovers from the cake into crumbs and sprinkle the cake on top.
Cake in the pan
For the test we need:
- Dark fragrant honey - 100 g.;
- Butter - 100 g;
- Sugar - 150 g;
- Sour cream (fat content of 20% or more) - 50 g;
- Wheat flour (preferably of the highest grade) - 400 g;
- Chicken egg - 3 pcs.;
- Baking soda - 1 tsp.
To prepare the cream, take:
- Sugar - 200 g;
- Vanilla Sugar - 1 tsp;
- Sour cream (fat content of 20% or more) - 700 g;
- Lemon (to add spicy sourness) - 1 pc.
Dough
- We combine sugar, honey, butter in a bowl, heat the mass to a state of homogeneity with constant stirring, do not bring to a boil.
- Do not forget to remove from heat, add soda to the hot mass and mix thoroughly. The mixture should lighten and foam.
- Cool the mass for about 5 minutes.
- Gradually add three eggs to the cooled mixture, stirring after adding each of the resulting mass with a whisk.
- Next, put sour cream and mix thoroughly.
- At the last stage, add the sifted wheat flour to the mixture and stir again until smooth.
- The dough should become smooth, uniform, soft and sticky - this is an indicator of its readiness.
- Having covered the dough with a film, we send it to cool for 3 hours (it can be overnight).
- Taking the dough out of the refrigerator, divide it into 7 identical parts.
- We leave one part of the dough on the table, and the others, sprinkled with flour, put in the refrigerator again - we will get them as necessary.
- Sprinkle the working surface with flour and roll out a circle 3-4 mm thick. the desired diameter (the size of the pan). So do with each of the six pieces.
- We take a frying pan with a thick bottom, warm it well and transfer the cake. Fry for about a minute on each side without oil. The cakes are fragile, so you need to turn them carefully.
- After removing the cakes, you need to carefully trim them using a flat stencil.
- After cooling, we turn the scraps into crumbs - we will use them for dusting.
Cream
- Combine sour cream, sugar, vanillin and mix.
- Add the juice of half a lemon and zest to taste.
- Beat the resulting mass with a whisk until smooth.

Cooking honey cake in a slow cooker
You can make a cake in a slow cooker from the same ingredients that are listed in the first recipe. Kneading the dough and preparing it for work, set the “baking” mode on the indicator and the time - 50 minutes.
After 35 minutes have passed, be sure to open the lid of the multicooker and pierce the biscuit with a toothpick in several places.
Remove the biscuit from the bowl only after it cools down. Next, you will need to do painstaking work: cut the resulting biscuit lengthwise into 4-5 cakes.

Honey cake with sour cream and bananas
