Cooking:
- First of all, the dough is prepared. Flour is mixed with softened butter, everything is thoroughly mixed.
- Sour cream, salt and sugar go there. Knead the dough.
Important! The better to knead the dough, the more airy it will turn out. - To make pancakes, the egg is whipped with milk. The remaining components are added, the last flour. Add it gradually to get a semi-liquid dough. 4-5 pancakes are baked.
- To prepare the filling, finely chop the mushrooms and onions, fry with the addition of butter.
- The boiled chicken breast is torn into small pieces and added to the onion-mushroom mixture. Finely chopped eggs and onions are added to boiled rice, everything is thoroughly mixed.
- The formation of the kurnik begins with rolling into a large circle of dough. On it, in the center, a pancake is laid out, and on it is one of the fillings.It is covered with pancake on top and the filling is laid again, but already different. So lay out the filling layers until the pancakes run out.
- Put the remaining dough rolled into a circle on top. Make a hole in the center.
- Put the cake greased with whipped yolk into the oven, preheating to 180 degrees. The dish will be ready in 30-40 minutes.
With the addition of potatoes
The chicken and potato hench is delicious and satisfying.
Ingredients:
- 300 g of chicken (preferably thigh and breast);
- 0.3 kg of potatoes;
- 2 onions;
- 200 g butter (margarine is also an alternative);
- 2 eggs;
- ½ cup of water;
- 5 tbsp. flour;
- 3-4 tbsp. l sunflower oil
- salt and spices are added to taste.
Cooking:
- The potato is peeled, chopped with small sticks, sprinkled with salt and mixed.
- Chicken meat is cut into small pieces, salted, sprinkled with pepper and mixed.
- The peeled onion is cut into pieces.
- For dough, break 2 eggs into a cup. Add water, salt and mix.
- Butter is added to the egg water, which must first be melted. After this, flour is gradually introduced. Knead the dough. The resulting mass must be divided into 2 unequal parts.
- In the baking dish, most of the dough rolled out into a cake is laid at the bottom. It is important not to forget to leave the edges free for subsequent pinching.
- Potatoes are placed on the dough, then chicken, then onions and spices.
- From the remaining piece of dough, roll out another cake and put it on top. Do not forget to make a hole in the center for the release of steam.
- A baked chicken with meat and potatoes is baked for an hour. The temperature in the oven should be at least 180 degrees.
Cooking in a slow cooker
Kurnik can be cooked in a slow cooker.
You will need:
For the test stock up on the following products:
- kefir - 1 cup;
- butter - 400 g;
- 0.5 tsp salts and soda;
- flour - 3-4 glasses.
For filling:
- 3 medium-sized cooked potatoes;
- 3 onion heads;
- 300 g of mushrooms;
- 300 g of chicken;
- greenery.
Cooking:
- Salt and soda are added to chilled kefir. Butter is poured there (it is melted in advance).
- Add flour, knead the dough. It is required to clean it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Turn on the slow cooker in the "Frying" mode. Fry chopped onion in hot oil. After 5 minutes add the mushrooms, finely chopped, mix and leave until the end of the program. Prepared vegetables are transferred to a plate.
- A bowl of multicookers sprinkled with flour. Divide the dough into 2 pieces: one slightly larger than the other. Most of them are rolled out and laid out on the bottom so that small sides remain. Pancake Chicken and Mushroom

Pancakes are made from:
- 500-700 g of flour;
- 130 g butter;
- 100 g of mayonnaise and the same amount of sour cream (10-15% fat content);
- 150 ml of 2.5% milk;
- 1 eggs
- salt.
The filling is prepared from:
- chicken fillet - 400 g;
- mushrooms (any) - 300 g;
- 2 medium potatoes;
- onions - 1 pc.;
- dill greens - 30-50 g;
- salt and black pepper.
To lubricate the product you will need vegetable oil and one egg yolk.
Cooking Technology:
- First knead the half-layered dough. To do this, most of the flour is sifted into the bowl. Salt is poured there, a couple of pinches will be quite enough, softened butter is laid out. Grind flour and butter in dry crumbs. If necessary, a little flour is added.

- The process of preparing the filling begins with mushrooms. They are boiled in salted water, gently squeezed and passer. Mushrooms are placed in a pan with butter, chicken fillet and onions, diced, are sent there. All this is fried until cooked. After that, twist the mushroom and chicken fillings in a meat grinder. The egg, pepper are added to the mixture, salt is added. The potato is peeled, chopped into medium-sized cubes. He and greens are also laid out in chicken and mushroom stuffing.
- It remains to form a kurnik. Divide the dough from the refrigerator into 2 unequal parts. You can also leave a small piece to decorate the finished dish. Each part should be rolled into a layer. With the help of 2 plates of different diameters (25 and 30 cm), an even appearance is given.
- A smaller cake is placed on a greased baking sheet. A third of the minced meat is laid out on it so that there is a bit of free space to the edge. After that, it is stacked in layers: pancake - filling - pancake - filling. The last should be a pancake.
- The whole structure is covered by the second (most) part of the test. In the center, make a small incision. At the bottom of the cake is fastened. The top is decorated with a piece of dough left over.
- To bake a cake, the oven must warm up to around 180 degrees. Cooking time - 40 minutes.

- wheat flour - 430 g;
- butter (margarine can) - 120 g;

- champignons - 450 g;
- rice, boiled in advance - 200 g;

Cooking:
- Boil chicken and a couple of eggs.
- During this time we cook shortbread dough. For its mixing, margarine and sour cream are used. Beat the egg with sour cream and butter, add milk.
- Flour is combined with baking powder, then poured into the prepared composition. Everything is thoroughly mixed. The resulting dough should lie in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- For the filling, the chicken is cut into small pieces. Boiled eggs are also crushed and mixed with boiled rice and chopped herbs. The mass is salted and peppered.
- The washed mushrooms, along with onions, are fried in oil in a pan.
- Chilled dough is divided into 2 pieces and then the chicken is cooked as usual: on the dough rolled out into a cake, layers of filling are laid out, which alternates with pancakes. The second piece of dough rolls out and covers the chicken pot on top.
- A small hole is made in the center of the cake to allow steam to escape. Bake in an oven heated to 180 degrees for 1 hour.
Margarine Recipe

- creamy margarine - 250 g;
- milk - 150 g;
- ½ tsp baking soda;
- 1 tbsp. l baking powder for dough;
- 2 eggs;
- ½ tbsp l granulated sugar;
- 3 cups flour;
- a pinch of salt.
Cooking:
- Mix flour with baking powder, sift through a fine sieve.
- The eggs, broken into a deep bowl, are mixed with sugar, salt and softened margarine. Everything is thoroughly mixed.
- Milk is added, flour is gradually filled up. Knead the dough, which must be placed in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.

Old recipe with chicken and rice
To prepare a pie for 8 servings for the dough we take:
- flour - 3 cups;
- butter - 200 g;
- eggs - 2 pcs.;
- sour cream - 1 tbsp .;
- salt - ½ tsp
For filling:
- 1 kg chicken fillet;
- 4 eggs;
- cream - ¼ cup;
- juice of half a lemon;
- 1 glass of rice;
- a small pinch of nutmeg;

- Initially, you should start preparing the components. Cut boiled chicken into slices.

- To knead the dough, take 2 eggs, butter, sour cream, flour and salt. The resulting product is divided into 2 unequal parts.
- From that half, which is larger, the layer is rolled out and placed on a baking sheet. After this, layers are formed: on the dough, rice, then eggs, followed by half of the whole chicken and mushrooms. Again rice, eggs and chicken-mushroom mixture.
- From the remaining dough, another circle is rolled out, which will become a “cover” for the kurnik. A small hole is necessarily cut in the center.
- Bake the dish at 180 degrees. Cooking time is about 40 minutes.
Yeast cake
Need to stock up:
For the test:
- milk - 250 ml;
- an egg;
- butter - 70 g;
- dry yeast - 1 tsp;
- sugar - 1 tbsp. l .;
- salt;
- flour - 600 g.
For filling:
- 0.5 kg of boiled chicken;
- 3 potatoes;
- 3-4 tbsp. l any oil;
- 1 onion;
- pepper, salt, herbs to taste.
- For the test, stir the yeast in warm milk and do not touch the dish for 10-15 minutes. At the same time, beat the egg with sugar, salt and melted butter in a cup. Milk is poured into this composition, and flour is poured in small portions. Knead the dough and leave for 30-40 minutes.
- While the dough is infused, prepare the filling. Onions are fried in vegetable oil. The potato is peeled, washed, chopped with cubes. Chicken meat is also cut.
- Break off a small piece from the dough, roll out the remaining part in a cake and lay on a baking sheet so that large sides remain.
- Chicken, potatoes and onions are mixed on the dough. The filling is salted, peppered, oil is added.
- From the remaining dough, strips are made, which are stacked on top of the cake.
- Bake the chicken at 200 degrees 40 minutes.
Quick lazy chicken
A quick lazy chicken will save time on cooking.
The easiest option is with minced meat.
For the test:
- 1 cup kefir;
- 2 eggs;
- 1 cup flour;
- 1 tsp soda;
- ½ tsp salt.
For filling:
- 400 g of minced meat;
- 3 onion heads;
- salt and pepper are placed in accordance with taste preferences.
Cooking process:
- Kefir is mixed with soda and left for 10 minutes. The eggs break there, everything mixes up. Salt is added, flour is gradually poured, the dough is kneaded.

- A piece of dough is poured onto a greased form, and minced meat is laid out on top. The rest of the dough is poured on top again. The kurnik goes to the oven, preheated to 170 degrees for 40 minutes.
From puff pastry
You can cook a chicken pot from puff pastry. Prefabricated for sale in any store. For the filling, the set of products is classic: chicken, potatoes, onions.
- First, cut the chicken breast into cubes.
- Peeled and washed potatoes are also cut into cubes.
