How to cook the classic pasta "Carbonara"?

The classic recipe involves the use of some ingredients that not everyone has heard about, and they are difficult to find in stores - it's pancetta and pecorino.

Therefore, we will prepare a dish with bacon and ordinary hard cheese.

For the dish you will need:

  • 130 grams of cheese (preferably Parmesan);
  • two eggs;
  • olive oil - 20 milliliters;
  • 200 grams of spaghetti;
  • spices to taste;
  • 140 grams of any bacon.

Cooking process:

  1. We beat the eggs into a deep bowl, mix well with a whisk, add seasonings (for example, salt and pepper). Then there we put half the cheese, which was previously grated.
  2. The rest of the grated cheese is mixed with black pepper in a separate bowl.
  3. We place the spaghetti in boiling water and cook until almost done, they should be slightly solid.
  4. Cut the bacon into rectangular pieces and fry in a pan in olive oil.
