Michael Hans is an American who recently returned from a trip to major cities in North Korea. He brought with him several unique shots that were taken in secret from overseers, guides and the government.
As you know, North Korea is the most closed country in the world. Foreigners can come there only for a short time and only with the consent of full control of their actions. This means that a hotel, excursions, attractions and even people with whom you can chat will be chosen for you.
Hans risked his freedom when he exported these photographs from the country. If he was suspected of something illegal and decided to search, a tourist would have to go to jail for at least 10 years. Earlier in North Korea, there have already been cases when such tourists were sentenced to imprisonment or even to death.
Just look at these pictures. They all differ from how people live in the USA or Europe. The architectural style in many respects resembles houses that have remained in our cities since the Soviet period.
