No American Thanksgiving can do without a juicy baked turkey in the foil oven. And although we are not in the United States, this does not mean that there is no place on the festive table for this delicious dish.

Whole baked turkey in the oven

If you don’t know what kind of meat is served on the table, a turkey baked in the oven in the whole foil will be an excellent solution to the problem.

Ingredients:

  • 3 kg of turkey;
  • 20 grams of olive oil;
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce;
  • lemon;
  • garlic;
  • 3 branches of rosemary;
  • salt;
  • spices and herbs to taste.

Cooking:

  1. Carefully wash my bird and take out all the insides. If necessary, the meat is treated with a burner.
  2. We clean and wash the garlic, chop it in a garlic press.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the garlic and soy sauce.
  4. Add spices to the garlic and sauce. The more flavorful the herbs, the tastier the dish will smell. The mixture should look like wet porridge.
  5. Lubricate the carcass with the prepared mixture, pressing it into the skin of the bird. Coat the carcass not only outside but also inside.
  6. Dip the lemon in boiling water, and then put it in the abdomen of the bird. If the lemon is not dipped in hot water, the dish will turn sour.
  7. Put three sprigs of rosemary on the bird, wrap it in a baking bag and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour to marinate the meat.
  8. We send the carcass to the oven, heated to 180 degrees, for an hour and a half.
  9. Gently get it. The turkey baked in the oven will give the juice with which we water the carcass.
  10. We spread the dish, decorate with rosemary and cherry tomatoes.

Bake the drumstick

If your guests are not so many, then it is not necessary to cook the whole turkey. The drumstick of the bird will fit perfectly.

Ingredients:

  • turkey drumstick;
  • 4 tablespoons of sour cream;
  • a teaspoon of mustard;
  • 1 tablespoon of honey;
  • 3 cloves;
  • 3 allspice;
  • a quarter of a teaspoon of ground pepper;
  • half a teaspoon of cinnamon.

Cooking:

  1. Remove the skin from the legs of the bird, after washing it. We do not throw out the skin of the bird, it will be useful to us.
  2. Cooking marinade. To do this, mix sour cream, mustard, honey, ground pepper and mix thoroughly until a uniform mass is formed.
  3. We lay out three sheets of foil for baking, put a drumstick on them.
  4. Coat the leg with marinade, squeezing it a little so that the carcass is properly marinated.
  5. Pull the skin back, like a sock, grease again with the marinade.
  6. Gently wrap the drumstick. Make sure that there are no spaces otherwise the marinade may leak.
  7. We put in the refrigerator to marinate for 2 hours.
  8. After we put the bird in a 180 degree preheated oven, bake the turkey drumstick in the oven for 90 minutes.
  9. After the lapse of time we take out the bird and let it cool for 15 minutes.
  10. We expand the drumstick in the oven, pour it with juice, which was formed during baking.
  11. We spread it on a plate and enjoy a delicious aromatic turkey.

How to bake thighs deliciously

The delicious turkey thighs have not left anyone indifferent. No one has a question how to bake them deliciously, because they turn out fragrant and tender even for an inexperienced housewife.

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of hips;
  • 20 grams of sour cream;
  • 10 grams of mustard;
  • 2 garlic;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

Cooking:

  1. We wash the hips and dry them with paper towels.

  3. Peel and chop the garlic.

  6. After marinating, put the hips in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 1.5 hours.
  7. Gently pull out the hips. The dish is served hot in combination with a side dish. Dry red wine is an excellent complement to dinner.

  5. All chopped vegetables are put in a separate bowl, add the remains of the prepared mixture and mix. If there is not enough sauce, add water or soy sauce.
  6. In the abdomen of the bird we thrust all the chopped vegetables and green onions. To prevent vegetables from falling out, the edges of the abdomen must be tied.
  7. On a baking sheet we line several sheets of foil, put the turkey in the center and wrap it with foil.
  8. Cook at a temperature of 180 degrees for 1.5 hours. Then open the oven, remove the foil and bake for another hour.
  9. We take the dish out of the oven, put it on a large plate, remove the threads that tied the abdomen.
