Classic stuffed pancakes with ham and cheese
So, to cook pancakes according to the classic recipe, you will need:
- Beat eggs, add sugar and salt, beat until foamy. Pour milk and whisk, gradually add flour. Pour in vegetable oil at the end and whisk again. By consistency, the dough should turn out like kefir or liquid sour cream.
- Lubricate a preheated pan with oil and pour about one ladle of dough on it or a little less, depending on the size of your pan. The main thing is that the pancake is thin. Bake it over medium heat, turning on each side for 2-3 minutes.
- For the filling, you need to grate the cheese in large pieces, and cut the ham into cubes or straws. In the middle of the pancake, put 1 tbsp. a spoonful of cheese and as much ham. Wrap the middle of the upper and lower edges of the pancake and roll it like a roll. Done! Appetizing pancakes with ham and cheese can be served.
Pancakes with ham and kefir cheese
For those who love fatty pancakes and do not want to cook thin, we can offer to cook them on kefir.
To make such pancakes, you will need:
- Separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the yolks, add sugar and salt, then add 400 ml of kefir and flour to them.
- Beat whites with the remaining 200 ml of kefir. Then mix the two resulting mixtures into one.
- Before baking pancakes, you need to heat and oil a frying pan, as usual.
- In the middle of the pancake, put the diced ham and grated cheese. Wrap a pancake.
IMPORTANT: in such pancakes you will have to put less filling than in thin ones, as thick pancakes are easier to unfold and the filling may fall out of them.
Ham and Cheese Pancake Rolls

- Put the wrapped pancakes in a baking dish, pour them with bechamel sauce. If desired, you can sprinkle the remaining grated cheese on top. Bake pancakes for about 20 minutes in a preheated oven, up to 170 degrees.
Ham and Cheese Pancakes
Ham and cheese can be added to pancakes not only as a filling, but also as a seasoning. Such pancakes will turn out to be very lush and thick, since the dough for them is yeast.
To do this, you will need:
- Dilute the yeast in warm water, pour 200 ml of not very hot milk, add salt, sugar and flour. Knead the dough and let it roam for 3-3.5 hours. Instead of 30 g of live yeast, you can take 11 g of dry yeast (1 sachet).
- Boil the remaining milk, cool slightly and, stirring, pour into the dough.
- Bring the dough to the consistency of sour cream, add the egg and vegetable oil to it.
- Put the grated cheese and finely chopped ham on a preheated frying pan, greased, pour the dough and bake like regular pancakes.
